Thank you to our community.

We would like to say thank you for all the kindness we (Paul and Jayne Bennington) have received from so many people in the surrounding villages after the tragic accidental loss of life of our son Charles.

Charles died in a single-car crash at Hemblington on 01/03/2023.

The support from so many friends, family and those who knew Charles and those who did not have been a testimony to the boy we loved so much. He was full of life and kindness himself.

We have had many visitors and friends who have cooked food, delivered cards and flowers, given words of comfort, dedicated stars to Charles, toiletries etc, dog toys for his new puppy and a Pie night dedicated to Charles.

It proved to us how much everyone knew and loved our boy too.

His long life friends have planted snowdrops and Blue Bells in the place where he lost his life with the kind permission of the Landowner.

All of these things and many other acts of kindness have supported us both in our darkest hours.

A family member set up a gofundme page for the "Charles Bennington Achievement Award" in Charles's memory.

This is to inspire other students at Easton College in the heavy machinery and Hydraulics course, with an inscription on a silver cup and a piece of equipment as the yearly prize to be kept by the student.

Charles was 2 thirds through his 3-year course in under a year, such was his love of the apprenticeship he was undertaking with HG Wells Oil.

Intervention Services.

Both HG Wells and the college are supporting this award and making it happen for us to keep Charles's name alive to inspire others.

Please help us thank everyone for supporting us so much and also for their donations to Charles's fund.

kind regards

Jayne and Paul Bennington
